Missing Icons
Problem #1After an upgrade to Ubuntu 9.10, my desktop icons disappeared. I mean those little icons that are in the menus. Solution #1(1) On your desktop right click → Change Desktop Background → Interface tab → select Show icons in menus. (2) To enable icons on buttons: launch gconf-editor → desktop → gnome → interface → select buttons_have_icons. For more info please refer to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-3wHQ8rX7I .
