Problem

Using Eclipse CDT, sometimes the build process stops working. I make some changes to a source file, then Build, but nothing happens. In the console I just get the message make: Nothing to be done for `all'..

Solution

I didn't find an elegant solution for this problem. But the following workaround works: go to xterm and delete the directory Release. After that Eclipse will be willing to rebuild the project.
