Matrix

Let's see how to create a matrix. In Python, it's a list of lists. Similarly, in Nim it can be a sequence of sequences.

(1) matrix literal
matrix = [[2, 3], [5, 4], [6, 9]]

print(matrix)  # [[2, 3], [5, 4], [6, 9]]
let matrix: seq[seq[int]] = @[@[2, 3], @[5, 4], @[6, 9]]

echo matrix  # @[@[2, 3], @[5, 4], @[6, 9]]

Let's build it row by row:

(2) build row by row
matrix = []

matrix.append([2, 3])
matrix.append([5, 4])
matrix.append([6, 9])

print(matrix)  # [[2, 3], [5, 4], [6, 9]]
var matrix: seq[seq[int]] = @[]

matrix.add(@[2, 3])
matrix.add(@[5, 4])
matrix.add(@[6, 9])

echo matrix  # @[@[2, 3], @[5, 4], @[6, 9]]
