The creator of NimAndreas Rumpf (photo) "is the designer of the Nim programming language, which he develops full-time with a team of developers and the help of an enthusiastic open source community. He has programmed in various languages over the years (including quite obscure ones) without being satisfied with any of them. Andreas holds a degree in Computer Science which he obtained from University of Kaiserslautern." (source) Andreas was born in Germany. Although his age is unknown, my guess is that he is about 45 in 2026. So I think he was born around 1981. Andreas is quite active on the official Nim forum.
