nested function

A function can contain the definition of another function.

static string FrontBack(string a, string b)
{
int Border(string s)
{
var middle = s.Length / 2;
if (s.Length % 2 == 1) ++middle;
return middle;
}

var borderA = Border(a);
var borderB = Border(b);
...
}

The nested function border is only visible inside FrontBack.
